Getting older by the minute

Ember will be 10 years old tomorrow, but since I have to work we celebrated today. A whole decade! Her age will be double digits for the rest of her life! She's halfway towards being old enough (maybe) to get married! 6 more years to driving and dating! 3 more years until she's a teenager! 2 more years until Young Womens! 2 years left of Elementary School!

My baby girl is growing up before my eyes.

She's also old enough to hold her baby niece Adria while standing up. Aunt Noelle was Ember's age when Ember was born and it was a big deal for her to be able to hold the baby without sitting down, and here's Ember doing the same thing! Ember is such a darling girl, so full of personality and the spirit and some other stuff I'd rather not mention. She has a testimony, she has talent, she has a sense of humor, and she's a great big sister. She's growing up fabulously, despite my bi-polar parenting.
