Arlington National Cemetary at Christmastime

I received this in an e-mail and was awed by it's beauty. A man in Harrington, Maine, donates over 5000 wreathes at his own expense and even takes care of the transportation to get them there. His name is Merrill Worcester. He's my favorite person of the day.

I was impressed by the message of that same email. I am so glad you posted a tribute to this guy and the service he has been doing for so long a time. As I recall, the community is one of the poorest in the nation, which really says a lot when you consider his devotion to this cause.
