Home Sweet Home

We've been in the new house for one week now, and we're all moved in.  That's right, unpacked... organized... decorated... I am super woman.

Here's a few photos from moving day, both from the old house and the new.  It was an incredible day filled with so much service from friends and family alike.  We were overwhelmed, and are so grateful, thank you to everyone who came and helped make this day a little bit easier for us.

Members from our new ward came to help unload, it was a great way to be introduced to new friends.  We just put everything in the garage to be organized later, which made unloading easy.  I had the garage cleaned out later that afternoon.

FINISHED (mostly) PRODUCT

Except for a few pictures to hang on the wall, the house is all moved in.  It truly feels like home now, and the five of us couldn't be happier.

 The office is a little cluttered, it's the room where we put everything that doesn't have a place anywhere else.  We combined my office, Austin's office, and my craft and sewing supplies.  It's tight, but we're making it work!

There's no place like home!

After searching and praying and searching some more, Austin and Jill have found a new home!  The closing date was yesterday, everything recorded and funded like it was supposed to, and the keys were placed in our eager and grateful hands.  The first thing we did?  Put up the Christmas tree of course!  Our official moving date is next Saturday the 7th at 8:00 AM, so if you're so inclined to lift heavy things for a couple of hours, please swing on by to lend a hand!  Doughnuts may or may not be included in the package.

Rascall Flatts

I have a friend that has very good luck.  She keeps her luck by giving things away.  She recently won several pairs of tickets to the Rascall Flatts concert, and graciously gave a couple tickets to Austin and I.  I was so excited to go to this concert, this is one of my favorite country music groups ever.  The show was amazing and I am so grateful for Toni's generosity.  Maybe she can win me some Disneyland tickets next?

Happy Anniversary!

My parents recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary and they chose to spend it with their children in Arizona.  We went out to dinner and had a great time visiting, reminiscing and laughing.  I am so grateful to have parents that have set such a good example and a high standard to follow in marriage.  Congratulations you two, may the next 40 be just as wonderful!  And... ditto.

Puppy overload

Our little puppy girl is growing so fast, she's going to her new home in just four short weeks!  We've grown quite attached to her over here and it will be hard to let her go, but thankfully she's going to Toni's house where she'll be loved in abundance and spoiled rotten.
